I have lived in St Thomas for the past 7 years and I’m raising my two little ones here. I’ve put together an easy guide of activities and beaches to enjoy with your kids on your St Thomas adventure.
The U.S. Virgin Islands consist of St Thomas, St John, Water Island, and St Croix (30 miles south of St Thomas). Both St John and Water Island are easy day trips from St Thomas and I highly recommend both.
Note: if you are traveling with your family, I recommend having your own car. Taxis can be expensive as they charge per person, do not have car seats, and you have to rely on their schedule to get around. Check out available cars here.
